Back in 2004, 4 friends decided that they needed a website. They basically didn't do a whole lot other than get together, eat food and watch a lot of movies. Keep in mind, this was before the days of the social networking explosion (ie. Facebook). They posted pictures, reviewed movies, games and products while throwing in a few rants and tall tales to boot. The name of this site was "TRX - The Real Experience".

5 years later, Geocities decided to shut its doors for good and they were forced to move everything over to a paid web host. Long overdue, birth was given to a new site with a new name, "Modern Distraction". Moving slightly less away from a personal site and moving towards a pop culture based review site dabbling in an on-going 4 year professional wrestling pool among its staff members.
