M&M Meats: HotDipz - Buffalo Chicken
Mark MacLeod
"Our Buffalo Chicken Dip is made with tender chunks of chicken white meat in a creamy buffalo-style dip that's perfectly seasoned and topped with mozzarella cheese."
So, a few months back, I saw this in the M&M Meats flyer. Not long after, Brandon and I had a discussion about this product, and its potential goodness. We had a couple of ideas as to what would be good for dipping into it.
A few weeks later, I happened to be in M&M's picking up a few items and decided to give this a go as well. It comes frozen, so when I got home, I opened the box to have a little look-see. It did not look all that appealing.
I actually had it in the freezer at home for a week or two before trying it.
Once I got it all warmed up, it definitely looked more appetizing. Deciding to use it for some tortilla chips, I got my Tostitos scoops, and went to it.
You know what? It was pretty tasty.
I'll say now though, I did not find it spicy. There was some chicken in there, but not overly abundant. Not that I expected much actual chicken, as it was only $2 or $3 I think. I guess I would say it was a zippy (yes, ZIPPY) liquid cheese.
Final Ruling: Thumbs Up -- I enjoyed it. I haven't had it since, but its something I'd get again. It was a pretty decent dip for the tortilla chips.
